Core Projects Group partners with Coast Materials

Core Projects partnered with Coast Materials of Aransas Pass to move record amounts of soil as part of the development of Rockport Terminals site in Aransas Pass. The Core Projects members planned and executed the project over the last 7 months and expects to be done with bulk earthworks by January 2018. Further work for the site will include upgrading of the port facility and rail. Drainage work done after Hurricane Harvey has paid dividends in allowing access to previously inundated land at the back of the property and which will allow development of larger projects for Rockport Terminals and tenants.
Coast Materials has provided support with their fleet of end dump and belly dump trucks as well as clean fill sand from their pit. The next stage of work will involve use of Coast’s screening plant to sort salvaged soils into usable clean fill.
